SSA MEDIA LLC wants everyone — coaches, parents, and visitors, including people who use assistive technology — to be able to use SplashPad comfortably. This page explains what we do to make that happen and how to reach us if something isn't working for you.

Our commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the widely adopted international standard for accessible web content. Accessibility is part of how we design and build, not an afterthought.

What we do

Keyboard access — every interactive element (buttons, links, forms, dialogs, menus) can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, and focus is always visible.
Screen-reader support — pages use semantic HTML, proper headings, labeled form fields, descriptive link text, and ARIA attributes where needed so screen readers can announce content and controls correctly.
Color and contrast — text and interactive elements are designed to meet WCAG contrast minimums, and color is never the only way information is conveyed.
Text and zoom — layouts work at 200% zoom and adapt to small screens without loss of content or functionality.
Motion and sound — animations are brief and purposeful, and any audio can be muted. We respect your device's "reduce motion" setting where supported.
Forms and errors — required fields, error messages, and success states are described in text, not just by color or icon.
Ongoing review — we test new features with keyboard navigation and automated accessibility checks, and we fix issues as we find them.

Known limitations

We're honest about where we still have work to do:

Coach-uploaded content — photos, logos, videos, and documents that coaches upload to their own pages may not include alternative text or captions. We prompt coaches to add descriptions, but we don't control that content.
Third-party components — payment forms are provided by Stripe, and embedded videos are provided by YouTube or Vimeo. We choose vendors with strong accessibility practices, but their content is governed by their own accessibility statements.
PDF downloads — signed-waiver PDFs are generated automatically and may not be fully tagged for screen readers. If you need a waiver in an accessible format, contact us and we'll provide one.

Compatibility

SplashPad is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on desktop and mobile, and with common assistive technologies including VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA, and JAWS.

Please tell us the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within 5 business days and to fix confirmed issues as quickly as we can.
