I have been teaching swim lessons for over 35 years, and I truly love helping kids become confident, safe, and happy in the water. I am WSI, First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguard certified, and I bring decades of experience to every lesson. My goal is to make swimming fun, encouraging, and practical while helping each swimmer build skills they can use for a lifetime.

Parent & Child Aquatics is for children who still need a parent or trusted adult in the water with them. This includes children age 2 and under who are not ready to sit safely on the edge and wait for a turn without a parent beside them.
Preschool Aquatics is for young swimmers, usually ages 2-5, who can participate without a parent in the water but still need support with comfort, floating, movement, wall safety, and basic class routines.
Level 2 is the most common starting point for children age 5 and older who are new to lessons. A child does not need to already swim, float independently, or willingly put their face in the water to start Level 2. They do need to be able to participate safely in a group, listen to directions, wait their turn, and be in the water without a parent.
Level 3 is for swimmers who are already safe and mostly independent in the water. They should be able to swim short distances on the front and back, put their face in the water while swimming, recover to standing, and return to the wall safely. Level 3 is likely not the starting point for a child who has never swum before.
Level 4 is for swimmers who already have the basics and are ready to improve technique, endurance, stroke quality, turns, and stronger aquatic skills.
